Appendix 1. Regional Community Forum Reports
Updated…
Hello SB697 Hospital
Representative (sorry so cold and impersonal);
Per our discussion at the December
16th Needs Assessment Advisory Committee meeting, I have
made the draft needs assessment documents available to you on a
page on the CHIP website that is not open to the public. It can be
reached at the below link:
¨
/initiatives/2010-needs-assessment/info-for-sb697-hospitals.aspx
I used Mike's outline and linked
the documents available to the page and will update the page as
more become available. Additions to this round
are:
- Background (Same document as #2
below)
2. 2010
community health needs assessment process (5 - 8
pages)(Same document as #1
above)
3. 2010 Priority
setting process and results (8 - 12 pages)
-
Glossary
- List of
Abbreviations
I just talked to Mike and we will
have the remaining (following) drafts by Monday:
1. Executive
Summary (4-6 pages)
2. Regional
meetings - Summary of findings (8 - 10 pages)
- Overall
forum results by health issue
- Region
forum highlights by health issue
3. Overall needs
assessment conclusions (5 - 7 pages)
-
Resources
- Detailed
presentation of mortality, hospital utilization and ED utilization
for all health issues discussed in report
(these will be data
tables)
Remember, these documents are
DRAFT ONLY, have come straight from our contractor and have not
necessarily been reviewed by any other party. Please use them only
for your internal process in the development of your individual
Community Development documents. If you have any questions,
please feel free to contact Mike Moder at (619) 523-2006 or
myself.
The next step in the process is
for me to review them, send them to the editor, redistribute them
to the review committee, Mike to update with any changes, get it
typeset in the document format, collate the final document and
browse it one more time.
Thank you for all you are doing to
make this the best needs assessment yet!
